Face Coverings Still Required at CVWD
On May 8, 2020, the San Bernardino County Public Health Department rescinded the mandatory face-covering order that was in place; however, they are still “strongly recommending” the use of them. Although the County is deferring to less-restrictive orders, the District will continue to require that ALL employees use face coverings and maintain social distancing guidelines (6 feet apart) during working hours, while on District property or in a District vehicle (with passengers present). This requirement applies to all office and field staff.
The District is continuing to take all the precautionary measures possible to ensure the health and safety of our employees. As information and requirements change, we will continue to update you on the expectations and requirements during working hours.
