Coronavirus (COVID -19) Employee Resources

Welcome to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Employee Resources Page. This page was designed to provide employees with information and resources during this pandemic.  The District is continuing to take all the precautionary measures possible to ensure the health and safety of our employees. As information and requirements change, we will continue to update you on the expectations and requirements during working hours.

The HR/Risk team is here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact any member of our team.

Returning to The Office: Exposure Control & Safety Plan

The District’s goal is to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our workplace and collectively provide a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors. It will require everyone’s commitment and involvement to implement these strategies, monitor continuously, assess frequently, and adapt fluidly. The Addendum-Returning To The Office:  Exposure Control & Safety Plan is a supplemental planning tool designed to reduce the impact of a COVID-19 outbreak in the workplace. It should be used concurrently with the Interim Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response and Return to Work Guide.

In-Person Meeting Certification & Contact Form

The In-Person Meeting Certification & Contact Form was developed as part of our Returning to the Office, Exposure and Safety Plan, it provides information to external meeting attendees of the precautionary measures we are taking in consideration for the health and safety our visitors and employees.  This form will also assist the District in contact tracing if (when) needed.

Additionally, the meeting organizer is asked to complete the In-Person Meeting Attendee List and Self-Certification Form Cover Sheet.

The In-person meeting cover sheet and completed self-certification forms must be submitted to Human Resources.

Face Coverings Required at CVWD

On May 8, 2020, the San Bernardino County Public Health Department rescinded the mandatory face-covering order that was in place; however, they are still “strongly recommending” the use of them. Although the County is deferring to less-restrictive orders, the District will continue to require that ALL employees use face coverings and maintain social distancing guidelines (6 feet apart) during working hours, while on District property or in a District vehicle (with passengers present). This requirement applies to all office and field staff.

Learn how to make your own face covering at home by following these steps.
