Customer Assistance Program Increases to Help Low-Income Customers

The Customer Assistance Program (CAP) assists eligible low-income households with their water utility cost by offering a $15 discount (effective July 1, 2017) on your bi-monthly water bill. The CAP enables customers who participate in either the Southern California Edison (SCE) or Southern California Gas Company’s (SCGC) CARE Program to be automatically qualified to participate in the CVWD program. The CAP has limited funding and participants must reapply every 12 months. The CAP is available to residential customers only; discounts are not retroactive. If approved, discounts will be reflected on your next bill.
