The Cucamonga Valley Water District (CVWD) is pleased to announce that its 2019 Water Quality Report is now available online at CVWDwater.com. CVWD is committed to Service Beyond Expectation by providing safe and reliable water to you, your family and your businesses, every time you turn on the tap.
“I am proud of our outstanding CVWD staff, whose hard work and diligence has once again resulted in another year with zero reported water quality violations,” stated Director of Operations, Rob Hills.
The water CVWD customers receive is analyzed every four hours, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week by its highly qualified treatment staff. In addition to routine testing performed at treatment plants, water throughout the distribution system is analyzed weekly for disinfectant residuals and bacteriological content, further ensuring its quality. “Now more than ever, it is important to have confidence that your water is held to the highest possible standards,” stated CVWD Board President James V. Curatalo Jr. “The 2019 Water Quality Report demonstrates the pride that CVWD takes in providing the communities we serve with safe and high-quality water.”
In 1996, the United States Congress amended the Safe Drinking Water Act, requiring water providers to deliver an annual Water Quality Report to their consumers. CVWD’s Water Quality Report can be viewed online, or a hard copy can be requested by calling 855-654-CVWD.
