Biography

John Bosler

Mr. Bosler was appointed General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of the Cucamonga Valley Water District in 2019. He is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing short and long-term plans, policies, budgets, and strategies in conjunction with the District’s Strategic Plan, as outlined by the Board of Directors.

He leads a team of 128 water professionals to accomplish the District’s mission of providing high-quality, safe, and reliable water and wastewater services while practicing good stewardship of natural and financial resources to over 200,000 residents.

Mr. Bosler joined the Cucamonga Valley team in 2004. Prior to becoming the GM/CEO, Mr. Bosler served as the Assistant General Manager at CVWD. He oversaw operational activities and capital improvement projects that helped ensure a reliable water supply.  In this capacity, he also acted as the District’s liaison for regional water and wastewater partnerships and policy development. 

Mr. Bosler has over 30 years of experience in civil and water resources engineering.  Prior to his work with CVWD, he oversaw the engineering and construction activities of a private design-build company, which specialized in water resources projects.  Mr. Bosler is a registered professional engineer in California and received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.
